The X253 Mercedes-Benz GLC facelift has been spotted undergoing testing yet again, and this time, our spies managed to capture more detailed shots of the new lights that will be present on the SUV.
From the front, we can see an all-new design for the LED DRLs that now wrap around the clusters rather than running through them as is the case with the current model. Beyond that, we still see a dual-slat grille and a thoroughly wrapped bumper – both present on previous mules too.
Focusing on the rear, the taillights also appear to receive a significant makeover despite the camouflage on it. A three-element light array can be clearly seen on the end of the two-piece clusters, with smaller parts like the reverse lights in view. The horizontal light bars on the current model could be downsized to match the front DRLs here, although it’s hard to tell due to the camo.
Other subtle revisions involve the rear bumper and exhaust tips, the latter now with a slightly different shape to them. Beyond that, the SUV’s exterior doesn’t appear to be a whole lot different from the current model.
Interior updates should be as what we’ve previously reported, with elements from the updated W205 C-Class being added. A larger display for the infotainment system, new touchpad controller, steering wheel with Touch Control and a 12.3-inch digital display instrument cluster are just some of the revisions.
