RON 97 petrol price down 4 sen for Sept – RM2.65

After a brief hike in the price of RON 97 petrol, the ministry of domestic trade and consumer affairs (KPDNHEP) has revealed that the price of RON 97 will be RM2.65 per litre for the entire month of September 2018. This represents a four sen decrease from the RM2.69 that consumers had to pay from August 30-31.

The new price will come into effect from midnight until, as mentioned, the end of September, which is when the next weekly RON 97 fuel price announcement will be made.

Meanwhile, the price for RON 95 and diesel remain unchanged as they have been since May 30 – RON 95 continues to be priced at RM2.20 per litre and Euro 2M diesel at RM2.18 per litre, while Euro 5 diesel is priced at RM2.28 per litre at the pump. These prices will remain fixed indefinitely.

Past forty years the rulers promotes car and kapchai ownership instead of promotes and restructuring public transportation efficiently and effectively. Consequences now it’s ever complains and unhappiness towards vehicle ownership cost and high expenses on fuel consumption…

too much of dedak the past 60 years. Good money went into kroni pockets instead of building proper infrastructure for transportation.

Even last few years, transportation was all about making money. For example LRT3 from RM16 billion can lompat to RM32 billion.

Even ECRL, got so many people offer to do it for RM10 bil but cost became close to RM100 billion

So good that Ron 97 came down in price. And Ron 95 is fixed. All of us can now plan our finances.

Very happy that we have cheap petrol now because corruption has been curbed.

How many ppl are bothered about Ron97???
Besides, ppl who uses RON97 are rich ppl driving high tech cars with “sensitive engines”, Even increase 50 cents/liter, wont hurt their wallet.

While Malaysian majority use RON95, for their bread and butter car and kapchais….

PH govt, please do something to reduce the price of RON95 la…
