Another new model shown at the Intermot show in Germany is the 2019 Moto Guzzi V85 TT. If you feel like you’ve seen the V85 TT somewhere before, it’s the production version of the V85 Concept motorcycle shown previously.

During the development of the V85 TT, Moto Guzzi did not intend for it to be a true off-road motorcycle, opting instead for a more dual-purpose type of bike. Dubbing it the “Classic Enduro”, the V85 TT does indeed resemble some of Moto Guzzi’s legendary overland touring hardware, well suited for unpaved roads.

Power for the V85 TT comes from an 850 cc, 90-degree, air-cooled, transverse V-twin that is claimed to produce almost 80 hp. According to Moto Guzzi, the V85 TT will be used as a platform for the development of future models, based on “a wide range of users, strong character, prestige and Moto Guzzi’s unique style.”

While no real details have been released for the V85 TT, it does come with long-legged suspension – upside-down forks and Ohlins monoshock – and spoked wheels. Braking is done by Brembo with twin callipers in front and a colour LCD display is found inside the cockpit.

Modern riding conveniences in the 2019 Moto Guzzi V85 TT include three ride modes – road, rain and off-road – ABS and traction control. The 21-litre fuel tank sits on a steel frame with aluminium swingarm and the V85 rolls on a 19-inch wheel in front and 17-inch hoop at the back.
