Fans of the Bravado Banshee from Grand Theft Auto V can now own the sports car in real life, as a one-off example has been put up for sale by Texas Hot Rides. The asking price here is USD62,991 (RM263,270) for a car that has only done 13,185 km, and is based on a 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 with an 8.3 litre V10 as well as a six-speed manual gearbox.

As described, this Banshee was commissioned by Rockstar Games and built by West Coast Customs (remember the team from Pimp My Ride?) as a promotional car that was later given to one lucky winner.

That winner turned out to be a grandmother from Havelock, North Carolina, who subsequently sold it in early 2015 for USD45,200 (RM188,913). The car was then sold again by Mecum Auctions for just USD30,800 (RM128,728).

The current asking price is significantly less than the USD180k (RM752k) it costs to build the car, and the company says “no expense has been spared in the building of this car, and it has been maintained very well since day one.” A quick look at the car’s listing on the company’s site is further evidence of the claims made.

So, if you want to live your dream of driving a car from your favourite video game in real life, get ready to splash the cash. Interested?
