May 2019 week four fuel price – RON 97 down two sen

Another Friday, which means the usual weekly fuel price update. There’s more good news for RON 97 petrol users, because the price of the fuel has dropped again for the coming week, although not by as much as it did last week.

As of tomorrow, May 18, RON 97 will be priced at RM2.68 per litre (down two sen from RM2.70 last week). There is of course no change in the price of RON 95 petrol, which continues to be pegged at RM2.08 per litre, the maximum price consumers pay no matter how high market prices push pump prices.

Likewise, the pegged Euro 2M diesel continues to be priced at RM2.18 per litre, while Euro 5 diesel – which is always 10 sen more – continues to retail at RM2.28 per litre.

May 2019 week four fuel price – RON 97 down two sen

Based on Automatic Price Mechanism (APM) calculations, RON 95 petrol would cost RM2.38 per litre, while diesel would be priced at RM2.45 per litre without the price cap in place. The government added that it will absorb an estimated RM99.19 million in fuel subsidy costs for the period May 18-24.

These prices will remain in effect until May 24, when the next set of fuel pricing adjustments will be announced. This is the 20th edition of the weekly fuel pricing format, which is announced every Friday, and takes effect from Saturday until the following Friday.

I didn’t make the choice for sky high petrol prices. Now I regret my decision.

Lucky petrol is RM2.08. I can manage my finances well knowing it is fixed. If there was no change, by now, petrol will be RM3 per liter already

Aik. Weren’t you telling us that you are happy to pay the high prices to contribute to your Piratetan Government? Then why happy when prices drop since you can’t contribute more to those Piratetans.

Most likely because Roti john and Kunta writing style is different. And also this Roti john troll will always use the same word “Game Over” and “Game Changer” in his comments…

Decrease fuel prices? Where? When? RM2.68 per liter isn’t the RM1.50 per liter as was promised.
