2020 Renault Koleos facelift open for booking, priced from RM180k – flagship SUV to debut at PACE 2019!

TC Euro Cars (TCEC) recently revealed (or teased, rather) that the Renault Koleos facelift will be making its official entry into the Malaysian market soon, and it’s currently taking orders for the flagship D-segment SUV.

Two variants of the Koleos will be available, that is the standard Koleos at RM179,888 and the Koleos Signature, which is priced at RM189,888. Included in the price is a five-year full manufacturer’s warranty with unlimited mileage, as well as five-years or 100,000 km (whichever comes first) free maintenance. Those who make their bookings in November will enjoy up to RM15,000 when trading in your existing vehicle – the value is added on top of what’s offered after the vehicle assessment process.

If you don’t wish to be tied down to conventional loans, then you’d be glad to know that the Koleos can be had for RM2,299 a month through Renault Subscription. It works like your typical Netflix subscription plan – just use it for as long as you want! More details in the table below.

The SUV is powered by the same 2.5 litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine from before, which outputs 171 PS and 226 Nm of torque. It’s paired to an X-Tronic CVT driving the front wheels, offering an average fuel efficiency rating of 8.1 litres per 100 km.

Enhancements for this facelifted model include a new front bumper with full-width chrome trim, and this extends all the way to the fog lamp surrounds. The rear bumper is also new, featuring additional chrome details and two-tone finishing.

The cheaper Koleos rides on a redesigned set of 18-inch wheels, while the Signature variant gets larger 19-inch items. New exterior colours have been introduced as well, those being Amethyst Black, Millesime Red, and Ultra Silver. The existing Universal White and Black Metallic colours are retained as well.

Inside, it gets a new 8.7-inch R-Link2 infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionalities, and both front seats are now power adjustable. The rear seats now feature a two-step reclining function for better comfort, but the panoramic sunroof is only reserved for the Koleos Signature. Both variants get hands-free powered tailgate as standard, though.

Interested to see the new Koleos in person? Well, better be sure to head over to the paultan.org Premium Auto Car Expo (PACE) 2019 – co-sponsored by Michelin and TyrePlus – this weekend at the Setia City Convention Centre. We, the writers, will also be there ;).

What’s more, if you sign up at PACE 2019, you’ll also be eligible for all the promos reserved for new car purchases at the venue. For a start, the first 150 customers will receive a combined RM2,450 voucher*, which includes a RM770 3M tinting voucher, a RM680 premium Babel Fit gym membership voucher, a RM500 Reebonz shopping voucher and a RM500 Kuzig Glanz car detailing voucher.
