Volkswagen is present at ACE 2024 with its display of models it has on sale in the Malaysian market, and the carmaker has brought a range of promotions to the event. Its Love? Volkswagen campaign brings significant savings, including RM38k off the Touareg R-Line, bringing its price to RM434k, and RM36k off the Arteon R-Line, to RM264k for the sleek four-door.
When more seats are required, significant deals are to be had with the Tiguan Allspace seven-seater model. The biggest savings from this model will come from the mid-range Elegance variant that is offered at RM30k off to be priced at RM175,990, while the base Life variant gets RM17k off to be RM159,990. For the top R-Line with the 2.0L TSI engine and 4Motion AWD, this gets RM14k off its list price to be RM233k.
There can be no going without mention of one of the brand’s icons, that is the Golf GTI that is on sale in Mk8 guise. Here at ACE 2024, you can get one for RM244k, which means a saving of RM9k. This weekend is also your chance to see the Golf GTI Edition 50 in the metal, identified by a host of accessories to denote the model’s 50th anniversary.
Also present is the top performance variant of the Mk8 Golf that is the Golf R, packing a 320 PS/400 Nm EA888 turbocharged inline-four cylinder petrol engine that sends drive to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed limited to 250 km/h.
