Take note, those who take the train to/from the airport. KLIA Ekspres has released a special Ramadan schedule for the fasting month, and it involves the KLIA Transit service (not the non-stop KLIA Ekspres).

On weekdays, the first train out from KL Sentral to KLIA2 is at 5.03 am and the interval is every 30 minutes till 6.33 am. From then on, it’s the peak hour till 9.03 am, where intervals are reduced to 15 minutes. The next peak hour is from 4.03 pm to 8.03 pm, with trains arriving every 15 minutes. Otherwise, it’s every half hour except for 11pm to midnight, where the interval is every 20 minutes.

As for weekends and national public holidays, the KLIA Transit’s interval is 30 minutes for the entire day except for 11pm to midnight, where it’s every 20 minutes – no peak hours for weekends and PH.

If you’re taking the train from the airport towards the city, the first train out (from KLIA2) is 5.18 am and the last train departs at 12.30 am. Peak hours are from 6.18 am to 8.46 am, and 4.18 pm to 7.46 pm on weekdays. No peak hours for weekends, just 30 minute intervals except for the final hour of service.

This Ramadan schedule with altered peak hours is from now till March 20.
