Saga in 2026 — what's new
The 2025-launched Saga MC3 carries into 2026 unchanged: no 2026-specific mechanical, trim or equipment revision is indicated. It remains a five-seat, front-wheel-drive petrol sedan with a 1,499 cc, 118 hp engine. The Standard and Executive use automatic transmissions, while the Premium has a CVT automatic. The revised AMA platform and all-new 1.5-litre engine remain the substantive changes of this generation.

The MC3 is more than a light refresh, bringing a revised AMA platform and an all-new 1.5-litre engine. But it is not the cheapest A-segment sedan: its entry price is RM4,410 above the Perodua Bezza's RM34,580 starting point. Buyers need to decide if the newer-generation hardware matters more than that gap. The Saga name has logged 2,203,409 sales since 1985.
