Ferrari Tailor-Made programme launched in Malaysia

If you feel your Ferrari isn’t exclusive enough, or are worried you might not be able to find it in a car park, Naza Italia presents a solution in the form of the Ferrari Tailor-Made programme, which is now available in Malaysia.

As its name suggests, the programme allows customers to personalise every last detail of their Ferrari before delivery, from inside to out, via a wide selection of finishes, accessories, materials, treatments and colours.

The customer is invited to Maranello as part of the Ferrari Tailor-Made programme. They will be assigned a Personal Designer who will assist and guide them through the customisation process, while ensuring the resulting car is consistent with the Ferrari brand ethos.

Once the car’s details have been defined, the customer can then track all of the various processes involved in its creation, right up until they take delivery.

The customer can choose items from three Ferrari Tailor-Made collections: Scuderia, Classica and Inedita. Scuderia is race-inspired, comprising options such as carbon fibre, Kevlar, technical fabrics and matte-finished metals to “epitomise the very pinnacle of sportiness.”

Classica pays homage to the iconic GTs of Maranello’s past, offering a “modern yet still classic look” through the use of pastel colours, teak, vintage leather, chrome, cashmere and velvet, amongst many others.

Finally, Inedita is an avenue for the customer’s creative, daring and experimental side – they can choose from bold leather upholstery, suit fabrics and even denim! Here’s where you can specify a dashboard to match your handbag in material and colour, for instance.

The Ferrari FF displayed here is an example that has been Tailor-Made using elements from the Classica range. Inspired by the Pininfarina-penned and Vignale-bodied 250 Europa of the 1950s, it features three-layer Ingrid silver livery with dark grey sills and rims.

Its cabin is described as a “hymn to classicism,” incorporating seats dressed in pinstripe cloth and dark brown semi-aniline leather, cashmere headlining, grey carpet mats and a teak-trimmed boot.

  • “worried you might not be able to find it in a car park”
Depends on which car park. If normal or ‘tepi jalan’ car park, surely can find our Ferrari. But if in Pavilion’s car park or in Ferrari’s owner club events, then this tailor-made option really makes sense LOL

Didn’t realize this was new in KL. I thought that everything was custom if you’re buying a new Ferrari.

Heck if I’m paying RM2-3m for a car, I’d spend RM50k to fly to Maranello to choose my own options straight at the factory. Why go to Naza, I can see them from Federal Highway every day :D
