Audi S5 Coupe Press Photos Leaked

As promised in the previous post, here are photos of a higher performance S-line version of the Audi A5 Coupe – the Audi S5 Coupe. It gets a more aggressive bumper as well as a more pronounced grille with more pronounced vertical chrome grilles as well as the S-line badge to the left of the Audi quad ring logo. The alloy wheel design is also different. Am I the only one who thinks the Audi A5 looks better than the S5? The overly aggressive look somehow doesn’t go with the sleek coupe profile. To match it’s aggressive looks, the Audi S5 Coupe will likely come with Audi’s wonderful 4.2 litre naturally aspirated high revving V8.

You judge for yourself: more photos after the jump.

i think the new 2008 M3 will look very much better than this. the shoulder line is just too wierd and doesn't go along with the overall design. check out the upcoming M3 and u'll understand what i mean..

Ahhh… the return of the good old days; interface.

I see a clutch and a manual transmission. What's that you say? 350HP V8? Even better, sounds very American-Market-Target. And that HU with two dials? A bit retro but at least its as close to a normal DIN unit as you can get these days. Or maybe those are individual climate controls…then it would be a bummer. Thought they were going for NXT speakers?

Audi have always not putting much emphasis on its vehicles' wheels. Audi cars' wheels is somewhat subtle and unagressive, as opposed to BMW's variants with outrageously big wok-like alloys from 3-7 series.

It helps to put on a more aggresive look on the cars, and at times you tend to overlook the bangle-defects.

This S5 could do with a 22inch wok-wheels, and a little rear deck spoiler to balance it out a bit.

With Audi A5 , you cannot get more frequent stops at gas stations compared with the Audi S5, due to its fuel economy and tank size.
