Eterne would have been my choice… bold, matured, classy and sensible to be made available as a new model range; opening up an entirely new market for Lotus, which could lead into bigger sale volumes.

The best looking among the Quintuplets.

Is it me or all the lights on these cars seem squished… mata sepet.

The front is just gorgeous, the rear of Eterne and Elan is a bit weird…

The old Elan was like that, it was a front wheel drive, short wheel based drive which was a bit squarish so in a way it is a homage. I look at all the 2 cars that they have brought back, the Esprit and Elan, and it does bring back childhood memories. I remember a time when I was going through AutoTrader and seeing the cheapest second hand Esprit.

The front lights are inspired from cat eyes.

I hope the Elite does come with a folding metal roof / or retractable metal roof to make it a full convertable… , it will a complete car
However, they can also put in a full glass roof with an electric opacity controller made famous by Ferrari 575 Superamerica , this not only preserve rigidity of the body and improve handling but also gives more space in the back and the boot

These cars are just spot on. not too eccentric like any other concepts. they look very much production ready. however on sale on 2013-2015 is quite late and might make them redundant unless perhaps some updates here and there to make sure it is still relevant esthetically and performance wise by 2015.
