Two new Volkswagen sedans that have not been launched in this country was snapped by reader AbuHafsah in Port Dickson. The car you see above in the rear view mirror appears to be the new Volkswagen Passat sedan (not the Passat CC), which is slated to be offered here in Malaysia in CKD form.
From the looks of the rear end, this is the European market Volkswagen Passat as the US market Passat has the number plate on the boot lid instead of on the bumper.
The other car accompanying the Passat on test is a white Volkswagen Polo Sedan, also known as the Volkswagen Vento in certain markets.
The roofline and body shape isn’t too bad at all for a hatchback converted into a sedan, thanks to a lengthening of the wheelbase by 50mm.
Look after the jump for a small gallery of the spyshots as well as 2 photo galleries of the Euro Passat and the Polo Sedan.
