UPDATE: Full gallery added after the jump.
Remember the Hyundai Verna hatchback we saw at the Guangzhou Auto Show last year? It had its own unique China-only styling and looked like a smaller and sportier Hyundai i30.
Now we see the debut of a similar car with different styling at the 2011 Indonesia International Motor Show called the Hyundai Grand Avega.
It’s essentially a 5-door hatchback version of the B-segment Hyundai Accent. Basically the car we saw at Guangzhou but with Hyundai’s Euro face styling.
In Indonesia, the Grand Avega is equipped with a 1.4 litre engine mated to a choice of either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.
Look after the jump for a live gallery from the motorshow.

Great looking small hatch…
the front bumper’s grill look familiar….
nice looking car…hope it will reach our market soon
a ford fiesta?
GT-R grill ?
Replacement for Inokom Getz ? 1.4 ltr engine c/w 4 speed autobox = disapointment.
Look like Hyundai Avega is trailing Toyota Vios 4 speed auto.
I don’t think so. Replacement for Getz is rounder and still bears a lot of resemblance to it. In EU, it’s called the i20. Pity its not coming here tho…
Nice and rounded! :)
This looks more like the i30… but my God, what have they done to the backlights? It’s sooooo ugly!
I thought it’s i30 in Singapore?
nice !!! I really like the shape of it… nice one Hyundai ! thumbs up…
