BMW delivers 5- and 7-Series fleet to Sunlight Limo

BMW Group Malaysia recently handed over the keys to a fleet of new 7-Series and 5-Series cars to Sunlight Limousines, Malaysia’s largest luxury limousine company. The cars will be utilised as “official corporate limousines across some of the country’s premium addresses”.

Dr. Gerhard Pils, MD of BMW Group Malaysia, said that Sunlight’s decision to select BMWs as part of its limo service is a testament to the brand’s superior product quality particularly in terms of luxurious comfort, fuel efficiency and service reliability, all of which are key requirements in the luxury limo fleet business.

C.F Leong, MD of Sunlight Limousine, said that the premier limo service will be extended to BMW White Card members with a special discounted rate of up to 20% across all types of hires and transfers. Charges vary between RM250 to RM450 for airport transfers and RM240 to RM4,500 for local and outstation hire, with the option of hourly or daily hire rates.

In taking delivery of the BMW fleet, Sunlight’s executive drivers underwent a specialised training program. The only program of its kind in the country, BMW Chauffeur Training allows drivers to fully understand and experience the cars as well as their features and tech. Also covered is trouble shooting techniques during emergencies and car care techniques. Wonder if it’s half as fun as BMW Driver Training.

The chauffeurs go for training but what many hire companies fails to train the drivers is personal hygiene. I have taken limos before and noticed the well dressed driver digging his nose enthusiatically. If not his nose, they will use their last finger, the one with the longer fingernail, to dig their ears. All the while, the passengers see this.

I don’t understand why you like to bash continental cars. If you don’t like BMWs, Mercedes or any continental cars, go n stick with your Toyota n go to Toyota thread.
