Ad slots during the Super Bowl are always hot every year and it’s no different this year. The 2013 big game ad slots were dominated by automakers, and Hyundai-Kia collectively took six slots – four for the H badge and two for the K badge. Space Babies was the bomb! The “Team” for the Santa Fe was not bad. And so was the Prom one by Audi. Why don’t we get to see awesome ads like this.
VW and Audi always produce best ads.. koreans are not bad either thumbs up.. American ones is plain boring..

whats great about VW ads is always keeping the essence right at the end, reminding me of m.night shymalan’s.. it is the surprise and entertainment value that makes the ad successful..
the “undergrad mistaken for his camaro gift” imho is a pretty outdated joke, we can see straight away the intended give wasnt that within seconds of the ads.. there is no surprise element in the whole ads..
I did’t say is the best ad in the Super Bowl, just my favorite last year. It is about exaggeration, entertaining and sheer hilarious. Along with that K5 optima ‘everyone wants it’ epic ad.
I think its because I watched the preview if the VW ad that’s why I lost the surprise factor when I saw the beetle ad. Buy it was still my favorite amongst the list, Scottish accent will forever be entertaining, don’t ya agree lad.
This one cannot beat them all above. I never expected the gift to be a fridge. But still the VW Passat “The Force” was the best.
