Peugeot previously announced that it will be unveiled a “new 308 performance model” at this month’s Goodwood Moving Motor Show, but this new teaser video is the first time they’re unveiling the official name of the product – the Peugeot 308 GTi.
Of course, everyone has already speculated that it will be the 308 GTi before this so the unveiling of the model’s name doesn’t come as much of a surprise.
The teaser video doesn’t unveil anything new either – the mult-info display’s performance displays and amber backlight for the instrument cluster teased in the video is already available as part of a Driver Sport pack option in a normal 308.
Photos of an unbadged 308 that could be the 308 GTi surfaced on the internet earlier this month. Tell-tale signs that the car could be a 308 GTi include honeycomb treatment for the front grilles, 19 inch two-tone wheels that hide big brakes with red calipers behind them, and dual large-diameter round tail pipes.

If this comes to Malaysia it’ll probably be around the RM200k mark. But we don’t even know the UK price yet so quite hard to tell.
