The Honda Grace is no longer a hybrid-only affair, for the Grace LX has launched in Japan, and essentially, it’s a City with the same 1.5 litre direct-injected petrol engine you’d find in the JDM Jazz – our City/Jazz engines are not direct-injected.
The motor sends 132 PS to either the front wheels or all wheels through a CVT gearbox, yielding a quoted JC08 fuel economy of 21.8 km per litre. By comparison, the Grace Hybrid does 34.4 km per litre and our non-direct-injected City claims 17.5 km per litre, but remember, this is the very-optimistic JC08 cycle.
The Grace’s Gold Brown Metallic, White Orchid Pearl and Tinted Silver Metallic body colours are available, but a striking new Premium Crystal Red Metallic is a Grace LX exclusive. Auto air-con with Sharp Plasmacluster technology and rear vents, keyless entry and start, a leather steering wheel and auto-folding wing mirrors are available.
FWD, 4WD and special needs (with rotating front passenger seat) versions are offered, priced from 1.75 to 2.09 million yen (RM52,900-63,100).
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
You can go wrong with sushi, if Takata airbags inside.
Battery replacement cost?
Not only sushi car affected, most of the car makers even BMW & Ford.
The interior tech and price only dream of destroying AP system and cronies right…
You see the price, RM52K only. WTF.
To add more salt, the Japanese take home pay is many times more than the Malaysians.
What’s the difference between the JDM engine and the Malaysian version. The JDM’s version produces more power
engine L15A vs L15B?
Malaysia one does not have direct fuel injection engine
JDM is fully direct fuel injection engine
Because Malaysia appreciate Korean cars more. So just take it la. Stupid Malaysians.

snow.
a direct-injected with a non-DI fuel consumption really that much different?
DI, besides having more accurate fuel dispersion… main point is it could make use of higher compression (since DI could cool down temperature a bit as well as squirting fuel into the chamber last minute right before the ‘explosion’) & leaner burn (way more air than fuel) – squeezing out more power out of the same volume of fuel used.
… all that said, good fuel is a requirement.
p/s: I like the word explosion because it sounds more dramatic than combustion.
direct injection 131ps version did century sprint (9.3 second cvt) (8.6 second manual 5 speed) light modification intake open pod, exhaust etc can did 7.5 second
Wow. Thats pretty fast. Im sure its pretty fast to workshop also
If Proton cars we never had that problem hahaha…
