We now have a video that gives an inside look into the B9 Audi A4’s smartphone interface. It looks pretty slick, and shows just how interconnected the system really is. It supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and multi-tasking between calls, music or navigation seems pretty seamless through the MMI system.
It’ll be pretty interesting to see how carmakers like Audi , BMW and Mercedes-Benz will go about their mobility services especially after acquiring Nokia Corporation’s Here mapping and location services business.
The future of next-generation location based services, assistance systems and autonomous driving aids could all hinge on this new vision going forward. With all the furore over hacking into these on-board systems recently, it’s comforting to know that these automakers are committed towards a future that places safety and innovation above all else.

Really excited for Android auto & CarPlay. Google now & Siri’s voice recognition is way better than the once in most cars nowadays.
I hope there will be a retrofit option for my bimmer
