Tesla Model X pick-up truck rendering by Theophilus Chin-02

It wasn’t until recently that Tesla brought to the public its very first SUV – the Model X. Now, Theophilus Chin has gone a step further by imagining what a Model X pick-up truck could look like. To add to that, the rendering wiz has aptly chosen to base it on the Renault Duster Oroch “sport utility pick-up.”

Sleek might be best in describing the entire truck’s design. Unlike the Duster Oroch, the entire front section of the Model X truck appears a little longer than the original vehicle that it’s based on. The wheel arches are taken off the Model X, as well as the black cladding that surrounds the truck.

When viewing the rendering from its rear, what can be seen more visibly are the split character lines (side profile). Down the back, that’s pretty much the Model X’s rear-end, however the tail lamps have been stretched to appear sharper.

It’s not entirely certain as to whether Tesla might consider an all-electric Model X truck. If it ever does, we can imagine that it will possess the sort of performance that will put most trucks to shame. With four (hypothetical) electric motors – one on each corner – it can also be an all-wheel drive vehicle that’s suitable for all terrain types.

So guys, if ever a Model X-based pick-up truck is brought to life, would you consider having one parked in your porch?
