Own a Lexus and play golf? For the 10th consecutive year, Lexus Malaysia is inviting owners to join the Lexus Golf Invitational, which for 2016 will be held this month and August. The friendly golf tournament is a run-up to the Lexus Cup 2016, which will be held at Montgomerie Links Danang. One of the best golf courses in Vietnam, it was designed by none other than Colin Montgomerie.
The Lexus Golf Invitational 2016 will be held at three locations:
- July 20 at Bukit Jawi Golf Resort, Penang (North)
- August 2 at Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club, Nusajaya Johor (South)
- August 25 at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (Central)
This year, four winners will be invited to compete in the Lexus Cup 2016 – the champion from each region and the best runner-up (by score). This is the sixth year of the Lexus Cup, hosted by the Lexus Asia Pacific Division in partnership with its regional distributors. Last year, golfers from Malaysia were the champions at the Bali event.
“Golf is popular among Lexus owners, hence the running of the Lexus Golf Invitational annually in Malaysia since 2007 when Lexus Malaysia began operations. We believe this event complements the lifestyle of our customers and also provides them with the opportunity to interact with other Lexus owners,” said UMW Toyota Motor president Datuk Ismet Suki.
