VIDEO: Malaysian Kasma Daniel completes training at the Yamaha VR46 academy Mastercamp

Selected to attend the Yamaha VR46 Mastercamp, Malaysian Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin has successfully completed his stint at the camp, undergoing tutelage in the finer art of racing motorcycles.

Currently riding for Yamaha Finson Motorsport in the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) in the Asia Production 250 (AP250) category, Kasma was selected to attend the riders academy based on current AP250 points standings, age and other criteria.

Riders attending the academy have their skills honed by the VR46 Mastercamp instructors, which includes tutoring by by nine-time World Champion motorcycle racer Valentino Rossi. Training is with a mix of motocross bikes on dirt tracks, as well as road racers on a tarmac circuit.

Kasma Daniel currently campaigns a Yamaha YZF-R25 #127 in the AP250 category, where he placed 9th in the 2015 season. Racing resumes on August 8 in Indonesia.
