Already the lightest of its kind, the Lotus Evora 400 is now available with further weight-saving options such as the new Carbon Pack, a lithium-ion battery and titanium sports exhaust system.
The Carbon Pack uses a number of components already fitted to the limited-production Lotus Evora Sport 410 as standard. It includes a front splitter section, roof panel, rear wing centre, rear diffuser finisher, front access panel and wing mirror caps in carbon fibre.
The hand-made CF parts cut mass by five kilograms whilst at the same time providing a contrasting carbon finish to the exterior. The titanium sports exhaust and lithium-ion battery each save a further 10 kg.
The new options join a range of existing weight-saving measures, which include the deletion of the air con and specifying the 2+0 seating option, both no-cost options. Altogether, the mass-reducing measures cut the Evora 400’s weight by 42 kg to just 1,353 kg.
With 400 hp and 410 Nm on tap from a supercharged 3.5 litre V6 engine, this car’s power-to-weight ratio is rather amazing – the standard Evora 400 does 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.2 seconds and has a max speed of 300 km/h.
Separately, Lotus has introduced a cupholder (weighs just 120g, Hethel reminds) and oddment tray to all Evoras – standard in USA and Canada and optional for Europe and Asia.

nice car bad price.
the grey car in the picture…my comment…the fit and finish worst than Haval…
What? No Air con? Argh….A car for track only perhaps. As such, might as well, take out the ICE monitor. But again, why auto tranny for a track car?
In before somebody says fake diffuser for premium looks.
Stop eating fastfood and go gym for god sake.
Lose the 5kg from the driver and stay healthy, but please, no one will want a non-aircon car.
