The Honda NeuV has been previewed ahead of its planned debut at next year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The boxy concept car is meant to serve as a showcase of the company’s future technologies, and is referred to as an “automated EV commuter vehicle” by the company.
Firing up the “emotion engine,” the name of the NeuV’s artificial intelligence (AI), Honda says it will “creates new possibilities for human interaction and new value for customers.” Developed by cocoro SB, the AI will likely be capable of solving complex problems associated with autonomous driving, and continuously improve itself over time.
Honda did not divulge what will power the NeUV but it will most likely be an electric vehicle. Aside from the concept, the company will also announce collaborations with various startup companies and global brands to enhance the mobility experience, as part of its theme of “Cooperative Mobility Ecosystem.’
