Shell has launched its Drive On global campaign which aims to highlight and celebrate the reasons why people drive, with Malaysia being the first globally to have the Shell Advantage and Rewards (SHARE) consumer and trade loyalty programme.
“It is difficult for drivers to truly understand the importance of motor oils, and even more difficult for workshops to get drivers to care as well. With the Shell Helix Ultra ‘Drive On’ campaign, we are showing drivers in Malaysia just how our fully synthetic motor oil enables their passion for driving, so that drivers can have the most enjoyable journey possible,” said Shell Lubricants executive director Troy Chapman.
The SHARE loyalty programme includes offers such as a storewide Lazada voucher for first time sign-up with purchase, a buy-three-packs, get-one-free offer for purchases of Shell Helix Ultra, oil change reminders and seasonal promotions, accessed by purchases of Shell Helix Ultra, High Mileage, HX7 or HX5 engine oils, and registering online.
Users will need to sign up and register the 12-digit code for each pack of Shell Helix oil purchased (hidden under a peel-off label), and when three packs are purchased within two years, the fourth pack can be had free of charge. The packs will have to be registered within a month of purchase, and the packs of oil can be used for any number of suitable cars.
Benefits from this include the aforementioned RM15 Lazada e-voucher, SMS confirmation of a genuine Shell Helix product, as well as the Shell Helix Engine Warranty, which covers vehicles younger than eight years and with mileage less than 150,000 km.
