Porsche has introduced the special Panamera 10 Years Edition to commemorate the first decade since the birth of the original four-door luxury sedan. In Germany, the anniversary edition is only available for the Panamera 4 and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, as well as its equivalent Sport Turismo counterparts.
Let’s start with design changes. New to the special model are items such as the 21-inch Panamera Sport Design wheels finished in White Gold Metallic, “Panamera10” logo on the front doors, front passenger trim panel and door entry guards (also in the same white gold paint), as well as black partial leather interior with white gold decorative stitching.
Other standard features include LED matrix headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS Plus), Lane Change Assist, Lane Keeping Assist with traffic sign recognition, Park Assist with reverse camera, panoramic glass roof, privacy glass, heated 14-way comfort seats with Porsche crest on the head restraints, soft-close doors, digital radio and Bose Surround Sound system.
On the mechanical side of things, the Panamera 10 Years Edition gets adaptive three-chamber air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management and Power Steering Plus as standard. Panamera 4 E-Hybrid variants get a 7.2 kW onboard charger instead of the regular 3.6 kW unit, too.
That’s pretty much it for the special edition Panamera. To recap, the Panamera 4 is powered by a 3.0 litre turbocharged V6, producing 330 PS and 450 Nm, figures which are good for a century sprint time of 5.5 seconds (5.3 seconds with the optional Sports Chrono Pack).
Meanwhile, the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid gets an electrified 2.9 litre twin-turbo V6 engine that makes a combined output of 462 PS and 700 Nm of torque. Together with an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive, the hybrid sprints from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, before maxing out at 278 km/h.
The current, second-generation Panamera and Panamera Sport Turismo are manufactured entirely in the Porsche plant in Leipzig. To date, over 250,000 units have been delivered.
