The current, sixth-generation (FL5) Honda Civic Type R will no longer be sold in Europe after 2025, as it doesn’t comply with the stricter Euro 6e-bis emissions standard that is set to come into effect in early 2026. To mark the end of sales of the hot hatch in the Old Continent, the automaker has revealed the new Civic Type R Ultimate Edition
Limited to just 40 units, the Ultimate Edition is finished in Championship White and gets a number of aesthetic upgrades such as red decals across both the bonnet and down the sides of the vehicle. These are joined by a roof that is painted black, a tailgate emblem as well as carbon details on the wing spoiler and doorstep garnish.
Opening the doors, you’ll find the Type R logo projected on the floor before you discover a carbon-fibre centre console. Additional lighting highlights certain areas of the interior, including on the door lining, cupholders, centre console, footwell and under the seats.
Those lucky enough to secure a unit will also receive a gift box that contains a numbered emblem, a carbon key ring, a car cover and custom-made floor mats. No change to the powertrain, with a 2.0 litre turbocharged inline-four petrol engine continuing to deliver 329 PS (325 hp or 242 kW) and 420 Nm of torque, with drive going to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.

Can’t understand why this car can’t be sold while guzzlers like range rovers and g wagens are not affected
Because those are made in the EU/UK. CTR are no longer built in Swindon so they got the stricter rules.
