Audi is set to showcase a limited production version of its recently-announced SQ5 TDI in Paris, and the edition – slated only for Europe in a 50-unit run – will wear an “Audi exclusive concept” suffix.

Built by quattro, the vehicle will wear an Aral Blue crystal effect exterior finish specially developed for the unique model. The interior of the special one also gets dressed up – the leather multifunction sports steering wheel, gear lever gaiter, centre armrest and the dashboard cover are all wrapped in black Fine Nappa leather, with contrasting stitching in snow white.

Likewise the seats, which adds woven leather in the centre section – according to the company, the SQ5 TDI Audi exclusive concept marks the first time that woven leather has been used in an Audi production vehicle.

Elsewhere, the snow white of the Alcantara headlining, the blind for the sunroof and the inlays and applications provide contrast. The inlays, meanwhile, are natural grain ash, and rounding things off in the dress-up treatment are door trims and sills pinned by ‘Audi exclusive’ badges.

No mechanical changes, so the rare beast plods on with the twin turbo 3.0 litre diesel and its 313 hp and 650 Nm.
