Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors has opened the Korean brand’s first 3S centre in Ipoh. Located at 130-132, Jalan Lahat, the 3S centre is operated by Sime Darby Auto Hyundai (SDAH), a subsidiary of Sime Darby Motors. Hyundai’s network is fast expanding – since October 2011, the number of 3S centres has increased by 55% to 17 nationwide.
This new RM5 million facility is equipped with eight service bays and has the capacity of 24 throughputs a day. Like all SDAH 3S outlets, it comes with services like free WiFi and drinks, plus a 24-hour ‘Key Drop’ facility. Besides car servicing, SDAH Ipoh also offers collision repair services, which include spray-painting and panel beating.
The new outlet will serve Ipoh and neighbouring towns. There are currently more than 1,000 units of Hyundai passenger vehicles registered in Ipoh, or about 40% of the total registered units in Perak.
Customers can call 05-2533395 (service) and 05-2533399 (sales) for more info or to make appointments.

This 3S center is not that new. It’s been opened for a few months already.
Actually, for Kia and Hyundai, there is always another S added on for a typical service centre.
