Kia has offered the first glimpse of its pro_cee’d GT, which is the hot hatch version of its new pro_cee’d. The pro_cee’d made its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and is set to enter the market in the second quarter of next year.
As for the pro_ceed GT, the company says its due to arrive sometime in the second half of 2013, as reported earlier. No details as yet, aside from the point that it will feature a 200 hp version of Hyundai-Kia’s T-GDi turbocharged 1.6 litre engine as found in the Veloster. Transmission choices are a dual-clutch automatic transmission and a six-speed manual.
The base pro_cee’d already looks quite athletic, but you can expect an even leaner looking GT version; as the sketch shows, that’s a rather aggressive front end!
