We’ve just sneaked in Driven+ Magazine #1 into Apple’s Newsstand, if that’s even possible. If you liked what you saw in Issue #0, then you’ll be even more pleased with everything that awaits you in Issue #1.
Driven+ Issue #1 is now a full-featured magazine with more content than Issue #0. We’ve also revamped the magazine to make it interact with you more. Although the magazine holds more content, the file size that you have to download is smaller than that of #0. Yes, through computer trickery, we’ve managed to reduce the size to just under 450 MB.
In this issue, we find that the Ford Focus ST is a car enthusiasts will enjoy and the Mini Cooper Coupé answers many boyhood dreams of driving an R/C. We’ve also driven the Porsche Cayenne S Diesel and 911 Carrera 4 in Austria; our thoughts are to be found inside the mag. We also review the Volkswagen CC, BMW X1 sDrive20i, Honda Jazz Hybrid and Ford Focus Titanium Plus. Do any of these cars deserve your attention? We think they do.
If you’re new to Driven+ Magazine, here’s the lowdown. It’s an interactive magazine that doesn’t require you to have a constant Internet connection to enjoy. You read it off your tablet device (iPad at the moment, with more platforms coming soon). Use gestures to flip though the pages and pictures, tap the ‘+’ button to uncover more content and videos for you to watch. Best of all, you get all that for the low, low price of FREE.
So download, and tell us what you think. Please send constructive criticism and plenty of praises to [email protected]. Best letter of the month may receive a gift.
Thank you, and enjoy.

still no android version
We’ve actually readied and submitted the Android version already, but our publishing software provider discovered a bug in the software so they are still working on fixing it.
Got Symbian version? my nokia can read offline finally! thanks tan!
Well done Paul Tan for this achievements. Now, Autocar and Torque, as well as Car Malaysia all pissing scared in their panties. their magazines got lousy content. Even their pricing is off. Say BMW 520i, they quote as RM150,000 because 30,000 pounds x 5. I mean how lazy can one be? Can’t they just give us the proper Malaysian pricing?
Paul Tan, can you give me a column in your Driven magazine. I want to write monthly about how stupid we Malaysians are spending so much on our cars and how we are cheated by our current government. I want to show our readers how the white man, whilst earning about 5 times more than Malaysians, can buy cars that are 4 times cheaper than what Malaysians pay. Double whammy. Malaysians earn so little because of corruption and yet we pay 4 times more for our cars. I’d like to title my column as “Rakyat DiPerbodohkan”
Please let us know when can get android version. Hopefully it is available on all types of android devices. Some android apps are tablet/phone specific.
Will there be in Iphone version?
pls allow pdf version for pc ^^V
I’ve sent in an email regarding the scrolling issue when reading the articles on the iPad mini that is specific for this issue…the previous issue works well.
Keep up the good work guys!
Please update your Driven+ app from the App Store updates section. That should fix it.
Some text can’t be read when viewing from my iPad Mini.
Opps .. didn’t read the earlier notes by Paul. My bad. The update fixed the problem. Great stuff you guys.
And don’t forget the BlackBerry users like me too.
Please.
Thanks Paul Tan !!
Hi guys, our Android version is out.

But Issue 1 is not in the app yet, only Issue 0. We’re not announcing it yet as it’s very fresh and might have bugs – any Android users care to try and let us know your experience?
I decided to gave up on Autocar Asean they have so many problems such as spelling mistakes, editors with teribble English, poor quality photos in local car reviews, and even politically motivated write ups.
