Unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con, this colourful Justice League-inspired Kia Sorento is the last of the eight special vehicles that Kia and DC Entertainment (DCE) have envisioned as part of aiding awareness for DC’s We Can Be Heroes campaign, a relief effort to battle hunger in the Horn of Africa.
The artwork was penned by legendary comic book artist and DCE co-publisher Jim Lee, who did his thing before a live audience. World-famous West Coast Customs recreated Lee’s artwork through hand-painted, custom air-brushing.
Following the unveiling, DCE president Diane Nelson announced that the newly revealed Justice League Sorento would be the centerpiece of a special online charity auction on eBay which benefits the We Can Be Heroes campaign.
Superheroes on the car are Superman, Batman (these two taikors get the front seats), Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg. Each have their own car – check out the Wonder Woman Kia Sportage and Batman’s Optima K5. Also check out the Sorento without superpowers here.
