Even though the F20 BMW 1-Series is only just about to be launched in Malaysia, over in Europe BMW is already preparing for the LCI facelift. From the looks of the car in these spyshots, the F20 BMW 1-Series hatchback will probably see minimal exterior changes as there isn’t much that’s camo-ed. There will probably be small revisions to the grille and bumper.
Since the 1-Series headlamps are possibly the most criticised part of the car we wonder if BMW has more in store compared to what we see on this test unit. Spyshots of the BMW 2-Series Coupe shows a rear that is inspired by the look of the 1-er Hatch’s rear end but a completely different sharper looking front end that reminds us somewhat of the old E46 LCI.

I was just reading earlier in the day they BMW Malaysia is preparing to launch the new 1er. Perhaps they will go for direct facelift launch?

I just wonder what all those people who criticise the head lights on the 1er what cars they drive as it is a very good car and it looks great.
