Peugeot 5008 facelift to debut at Frankfurt 2013

Peugeot-5008-Facelift-01

Peugeot has given the 5008 MPV a nip and tuck for Frankfurt 2013 as well, where it will debut alongside the facelifted Peugeot 3008 crossover. The 5008 gets Peugeot’s new family face which features a revised grille and bumper as well as new headlamps similiar to those on the 3008.

Inside, there’s new trim and extra chrome on the steering wheel and dashboard. The rear entertainment system has been revised as well, and you can use pair Bluetooth wireless to them so rear occupants can enjoy their entertainment without disturbing the driver.

That’s all the details we have for now, although we don’t expect any changes under the hood. Here’s a small gallery of the facelifted Peugeot 5008 for now, but we’ll probably get more when Frankfurt 2013 comes along.

The Peugeot 5008 is one of the best family MPV in the market in my opinion. So far this is the only MPV I see that offers family friendly features with great driving dynamics. Not only that it is looks good and sporty but whatever parents that owns this would be proud and unashamed to have one even if it’s just a MPV.

Somehow this vehicle looks somewhat slim on road despite a width of 1837mm.

I am still using my Citreon Evasion which was bought in 2001. The Evasion was the earliest model of this current 5008 series of MPV, a collaboration of Peugeot, Fiat and Citreon. No major mechanical problem, very family friendly. Most problems are related to interior plastic which may not be suitable for Malaysia climate, they cracked and broken. Another common problem for this MPV is the faulty dashboard meters, failing after more than 10 years, and the replacement is very very expensive at RM 4000!! I hope new model has sorted out these faults.

I’m using Evasion too. Very nice MPV. Large and fuel saving. My children love it very much. Now already 12 years with me. If you have problem with dashboard meter, I can repair it for you just for RM500. Contact me at [email protected]
