Hyundai is preparing a mid-cycle facelift for its Euro D-segment Hyundai i40, and we can see from this spyshot of the Tourer model that it will get a revised front bumper and grille.
The front bumper takes cues from the new Hyundai Sonata, having a more stately upright design, a change compared to the pre-facelift model’s more curvy snout.
The front end is the only part that is disguised for now, but we think there could be minor changes to the headlamp and taillamp graphics as well when the i40 facelift is eventually launched.
Both the ‘Euro market’ i40 Sedan and i40 Tourer are available with Malaysia alongside the ‘general market’ Sonata, powered by a unique 2.0 litre direct injection normally aspirated engine instead of the port injection 2.0 litre engine found in the Sonata.

Have a look on actual car, the interior and exterior look nice, expecially the tourer version compare to sedan.
But the price maybe set too high and people still tend to buy japanese car at this price range.
Furthermore, if the car move fast, one may not able to recognize this is i40 or elantra, both look quite similiar.
true. exterior and interior quality is top notch..unlike the rest of our hyundai model. but the pricing a bit steep. the quality and engine might justify the price..but pricing is still love at the first sight for msian considering sonata’s price is way cheaper than i40.
From ugly to uglier, boring design.
Yea, just liek your face
I love my 2014 i40 Tourer that is coming 2 mths old now. I agree it is a little pricey but if you look past the badge and ‘resale value’ paranoia it is a great car. Plus the dealers are willing to play ball with you and give you a great deal as I did to get them off the lot. I have been fortunate enough to drive most of the German marques and can honestly say it gives them a run for their money in terms of comfort, features, safety and even driving dynamics. Safety was a big thing as it is my first family car so the 9 airbags was major plus point too.
