The 2016 Bentley Bentayga SUV has been leaked online completely undisguised! Well, not exactly in its strictest sense but if these images of a Bentayga scale model are anything to go by, we could be looking at an unrestricted view of the British carmaker’s first attempt at breaking into the SUV genre.

Said series of images were uploaded by Autohome and appear to look pretty official as one might be able to notice the marque’s logo stamped on to the outer edge of the board on which said model sits. Also, judging from the spyshots we published earlier on, the model you see here does seem to correlate well with the presence of its bold front grille and trademark Continental GT-esque taillights.

As for technical specifications, the Bentayga is rumoured to arrive powered by the Flying Spur‘s 6.0 litre biturbo W12 engine with 616 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Also, expect the Audi-sourced twin-turbocharged 4.0 litre V8 with 507 hp and 660 Nm of twist to power the lesser variants while a plug-in hybrid is slated to be introduced to the market in 2017.

All in all, the model does seem to preview a rather handsome SUV but we’ll have to wait until the official reveal to pass final judgements. The Bentley Bentayga is expected to debut later this year – reports are already hinting at a Frankfurt reveal in September. Sales of the SUV are expected to commence in 2016.
