Here’s a cool video of the 2016 Toyota Prius, called “Beyond Possible – The sky’s the limit!” The Inception-like direction blends both urban and green backdrops, emphasising on the car’s “bold avant-garde looks.” In the descriptor below, it mentions that the Prius “sets new standards in fun-to-drive dynamics” too.
With the Toyota New Global Architecture (TGNA) platform, the new Prius has a lower centre of gravity, while the torsional rigidity is now up by 60%. Toyota claims that the increased rigidity improves handling, delivers a firmer and more stable ride, along with lower NVH. The improvements are also credited to the new double wishbone rear suspension.
As for the hybrid system, the new Prius is said to have improved acceleration feel. Also, the adaptive system in Power mode is said to provide sportier acceleration and deceleration for a more exciting drive, if the driver so wishes. So guys, are you swayed by the new Prius?
