While Jeep has decided to side with the heroes in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Dodge has decided to go the other route in its promo for the highly-anticipated flick, by pitting its Challenger against the Batmobile.
Understanding the concept of demand and supply when it comes to heroes and villains, the narrator in the 16-second spot says, “the world needs villains, and villains need cars.” Though we’re not sure that the Challenger, even in Hellcat form will be able to run very far from the Batmobile.
However, one would expect the Challenger to do better as a getaway car compared to the Toyota Prius, even if it only has a 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 under the hood with 305 hp. With a supercharged 6.2 litre Hemi V8, we’d expect Batman to break a sweat while chasing the baddies.
