Hennessey Performance is no stranger when it comes to customising Fords, providing them with more power, more performance, and soon, more wheels. Its latest project is the Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 “concept,” which is based on the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor.

As the name suggests, this monster of a truck gets an extra pair of wheels, as seen on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 6×6. The added rear axle is the identical to that fitted on the rear of the standard car, and the pick-up features a stretched aluminium bed to ensure there’s enough space for it.

Hennessey’s kit list includes 6×6 locking rear axles, upgraded Baja-spec Fox suspension, 20-inch wheels and chunky off-road tyres, extra-beefy front and rear bumpers, a new roll bar and LED lights. The price? USD$295,000 (RM1,219,308), but that’s before you check out the options list.

One option that will certainly be of interest is the 600+ hp upgrade, which introduces upgraded turbochargers for the 3.5 litre EcoBoost twin-turbo V6, stainless steel exhaust, enhanced air to air intercooler, and a tuning of the ECU. The power upgrade will set you back another USD$22,500 (RM92,998) and brings in an additional 200 hp compared to the standard motor.

To match the increased performance, the Texan tuning house also offers optional Brembo brakes, along with larger wheels and tyres, LED lighting upgrades, bespoke interiors, electronic upgrades and armouring systems as well.

“Over the past five years we have built over 800 VelociRaptor modified Raptor trucks for enthusiasts around the world”, said John Hennessey, founder & CEO of Hennessey Performance. “Our VelociRaptor 6X6 is pure aggression on wheels – all six of them”
