At the BMW Dealer Awards Night 2016 held last month, Auto Bavaria – the country’s longest serving and largest BMW Authorised dealership group – bagged a total of 27 awards, marking another great milestone since its establishment in 1988.
The awards ceremony, organised by BMW Group Malaysia, was to celebrate the achievements of the automaker’s network of dealerships in Malaysia, whose sales and service operations exemplified excellence and contributed towards achieving its business performance for the year 2016.
Among the awards won by the dealership group were regional awards, the first achieved by its Sungai Besi dealership, which was named the Best BMW Dealer in Customer Care for the region of Asia Pacific & South Africa. The other regional title was for best MINI dealer in the MINI Regional Competition Award, accomplished through its MINI Kuala Lumpur dealership.
Auto Bavaria MD Jeffrey Gan said the recognition and awards the company has received is a testament to its focus on customer excellence. “We feel honoured to be bestowed with these awards and winning the Best Dealer in Customer Care in the region of Asia Pacific & South Africa has set a new benchmark for us to repeat in the years to come. Being recognised internationally is certainly a historic moment for all of us,” he said.
The group also won the Best Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Score Award for the first time in the platinum category, and was named the Best BMW Dealer in the Diamond category for the sixth consecutive year.

I dont have good servicing experience. You have ” nice” and polite service advisors but when problems confirmed, the parts are not available. Got to wait for a few days or even weeks.
Shortage of space and shortage of service technician. A lot more to improve. Must try sungai besi AB since they are voted the best.
Sales advisor follow up action is not up to the mark. Promise to return call……either late or never call.
The service advisors and manager are the same. Promise call balik, tak call. Talk macam professional saja.

BMW miss out on one Award ie the Best supporter of BMW for claiming the MRT ride is as smooth as the BMW by the name of john.

Still, AB used to be main BMW distributor (franchise holder) in Malaysia for a decade or two. Now it is not. Like Kah Motor, AB would not be interested to introduce any model selling on low numbers. Like x1, 2 series, 4 series, 5GT etc. If Kah Motor still controls Honda in Malaysia, we would unlikely see Freed, HRV, BRV or Insight and CRZ. Same goes to Cycle Carriage Malaysia, they will maintain C class, E and S class if they are the decider of business direction in this country. That’s why BMW AG, Daimler Chrysler and Honda Motor Japan got fed up and found their way in.
Won’t be able to get any text reply from the sales advisor after sales. Only the sales manager will reply message. Warranty claim experience sucks. Simple absorbed bushing need to wait for 3 weeks. Service appointment made earlier for 8am but only will be attended after sitting there for half an hour!
Rubbish lah AB. They are only good at sales but after sales like crap.
