There’s no doubting that the Lexus LC 500 is an absolute head-turner, whether on the move or just sitting still. Driving perceptions aside, it’s a car that has all the staffers here at paultan.org agreeing on one thing, that it’s definitely nothing short of a visual treat.
The automaker’s flagship luxury coupe – which made its Malaysian debut last July – has remarkable presence, with lines that remain relatively faithful to that first pitched on the LF-LC concept back in 2012. Fans of sharp-edged design cues will have nothing to complain about with this one from an exterior point of view.
The cabin is also a scrumptious affair, the 2+2’s interior plushly decked out with leather and Alcantara upholstery. Drivers will love the pilot-focused cockpit layout and more importantly, how they sit within the car.
Plenty of kit to add on to all that plush – standard fit items include dual-zone climate control with Nanoe air purification, eight-way power-adjustable front seats with heating/ventilation as well as a navigation system with a 10.3-inch screen, Lexus’ Remote Touch touchpad and a 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system.
The LC 500 is powered by a 5.0 litre naturally-aspirated V8, as seen on the RC F and GS F. The VVT-i and D-4S direct injection-equipped mill can switch between Atkinson and regular Otto cycles and offers 470 hp at 7,100 rpm and 540 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm for output numbers.
Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a Direct Shift 10-speed automatic transmission with AI Shift, and there’s a limited-slip diff somewhere in the mix. All this is good enough to ensure that the LC isn’t just flash without dash – performance figures include a 0-100 km/h time of 4.4 seconds and a 270 km/h top speed.

Agree that the Lexus LC 500 is an absolute head-turner but many basher of Toyo/Lexus will love to disagree.
Stunning…in and out
Too much cheap interior colours, like those plasticky dashboard in cheap cars
100% agree. Although I rather have an LFA.
900k for tt sweet 5.0 V8 engine simply a bargain
One third of that price can get me sweeter 5.0 V8 in a Mustang.
Yupz. Langkawi price is cheap
Peninsular prices cheaper. Cuz no need pay for transportation to island.
This car no RV avoid at all cost
What’s with the edited pictures, looks awful. One or two is fine, but all pictures with the same preset. Lazy photographer.
was this the one in the Black Panther movie?
Like : Nissan Gtr
Dislike : Lexus Lc500
911 Carrera. Fullstop
Looks great, sounds great. Very luxurious, yet fun to drive (for a GT, not a sports car – which it does not pretend to be). The price is not bad also, considering its reliable and designed and built to last forever. But that touch screen interface needs to go pronto.
From the world drag race series, this lc500 got last among all 11 supercars. Nissan gtr number 5. Tesla p1000d won.
ok kiddo
Terrible pronunciation and accent. Your accent sounds very unnatural and I have to focus very hard to listen to what you have to say…and that’s distracting me from the video.
Absolutely true. If you had conversed with him before as I had, it makes this video even worse in terms of getting the unnatural accent. I don’t get the need to do so
Bargain of the century?? No kidding me?
