Last year, Nissan made owners of the R32 Skyline GT-R really happy when it announced its Nismo Heritage Parts programme. Now, the Japanese carmaker has extended the programme to include both the R33 and R34 models, so if you have the means, you can get factory replacement parts to keep your classic running.
Nissan’s move is a result of customers requesting for more parts and models to be added to the programme, which now offers about 160 parts, making the Nismo Heritage Parts programme the largest selection of parts for these models in Japan.
Owners of R33 and R34 models will be able to get exterior, powertrain, electrical and various mechanical components from the programme. Meanwhile, additional parts will be added for the R32 – including not just essentials related to driving performance or vehicle inspections, but also hard-to-find components such as new weather stripping or power window switches.
Nissan says that it will continue to foster a close relationship with Nissan Skyline GT-R owners, and will look to expand the availability of R32, R33 and R34 parts.
Should you happen to be in Japan on December 2, you’ll be able to get a first look at some of parts offered under the programme at the Omori factory booth during the 2018 Nismo Festival. Now, who’s interested?
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Sugoi ne. My R34 GT-R VSpec lives on! Banzai Nissan Banzai Banzaii!
That’s good news. Even R32 also got parts now. While Proton discontinue Wira parts…
Plenty of Wira half cuts available. Why need to continue producing parts for a car thats out of production long ago.
If there is a market for it, why not?
There is a huge different between ori part and replacement part.
No it’s dwindling market. Fewer and fewer wiras are seen on the road. Why chase after a dwindling market? This unlike GTRs that are well cherished and kept by their owners.
U certainly know nothing about the car industry..only can afford wira half cut..lol
U certainly know nothing about the car industry. Why not Ford continue to produce parts for Model T then. If you need to rely on such an old car, please work harder to buy a new car.
Then what’s with Nissan and it’s GT-R heritage programme? Or is it something called Supply and demand in conjunction with proper “Marketing”. what you meant is it’s abundant for Wira owners to acquire. But, GT-Rs is a product with values of not just keeping it running but in near pristine condition available due to its sentimental value.
Normal people don’t buy kereta potong parts. It is a disgrace to suggest to PT readers to buy kereta potong parts.
A responsible company will produce parts until 50 years. Mercedes and Porsche 1950 model also still can get parts and produced by Mercedes and Porsche themselves
Jepunis cars fast to obselete. After 5 years ady dino level tech, noone wants to be seen in one.
