Jaguar Design Vision Concept teased, Dec 2 reveal

Having detailed its radical rebranding recently, Jaguar has posted a teaser image of its Design Vision Concept that is set to be revealed at the Miami Art Week on December 2.

They say they will ‘copy nothing’ – they’re definitely not joking. Huge rear haunches, no back window (no tail lights either?) and what’s that air vent-like thing with its horizontal slats? A reference to the new maker’s mark, perhaps?

Autocar says the Design Vision Concept is set to preview a four-door electric GT, the first in a three-car line-up beginning 2026. Until then, there will be no new Jaguars to buy in the UK – that’s a long sabbatical!

The British publication adds that the production version of the Taycan fighter, which recently began road testing (above), will have over 575 PS and a range of nearly 700 km.

What do you think of this reborn JaGUar’s shock marketing strategy? Refreshing and novel? Just the way to stand out in these brutally-competitive times? Or will it make Sir William Lyons turn over in his grave?
