Subaru distributor Motor Image Malaysia held the Subaru Track Day 2025 event at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit on Sunday, where a total of 185 Subaru owners took to the circuit in their vehicles.
The Subaru parade drive saw the aforementioned 185 Subaru vehicles circulate the 5.5 km-long circuit all at once, and the track day also saw the participation of the GRZ club members – so named for the Subaru BRZ and its Toyota twin, the GR86 – earlier in the track day.
In addition to the low-speed parade drive, owners of a variety of Subaru models also took to the circuit for open lapping, which followed a Time Attack challenge. Naturally, models for especially spirited driving included the WRX STI, past iterations of the Impreza were the popular choice.
Invited guests also took part in the track-driving sessions in a selection of Subaru models brought to the circuit by Motor Image Malaysia, including the BRZ, WRX, Forester and XV. Passenger rides, driven by the instructors on location were also part of the programme.
