Rapid KL has announced that the KL Monorail is back to normal as of 11.33 am today, after an 8.50 am technical system disruption (now repaired) caused a train to be stuck without power between the Medan Tuanku and Titiwangsa stations. All alternative trains and buses have been discontinued.
A passenger reportedly fainted in the train. Fire and Rescue (Bomba) helped the person to safety. Medical teams turned up to provide initial treatment before the passenger was taken home by family members. All other passengers were transported to Medan Tuanku station for onward journeys, and the train was towed to the depot for further inspection.

This KL Monorail is more suitable to ferry tourists around a site than for mass transport. Each train has limited carrying capacity which cannot be increased. Yet it is being used for mass transport. What were they thinking when they constructed this?
Monorails are used worldwide as mass public transports. In fact this same monorail trains are serving the public in Mumbai India with far more people than KL. What failed is Anthony Loke, he must resign!
ironic , because kl monorail was first conceptualized during mahathir time as PM when MCA still held transport minister position
Anthony Loke, you failed! Please resign NOW!
can remind us again, which former PM and which former transport minister built the monorail.?
