It’s time once again for another weekly fuel price update, and after a few rounds of decreases, prices of fuels are set to go up for the coming week of January 22 to 28, 2026.
The price of unsubsidised RON 95 petrol will be set at RM2.54 per litre, up two sen from the RM2.52 per litre price in the week prior, while RON 97 petrol is increased by two sen per litre to RM3.10 per litre compared to RM3.08 per litre last week.
As before, subsidised RON 95 petrol under the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) scheme remains at RM1.99 per litre. Malaysians with a valid driving licence are eligible for the fuel at a monthly quota of 300 litres.
For diesel, the Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends are priced at RM2.88 per litre this week, up four sen from last week. The Euro 5 B7 blend, which is 20 sen more per litre, is priced at RM3.08 per litre. The retail price of diesel fuels in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan stays unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
These prices take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, January 28, 2026, when the next set of fuel price updates are announced. This is the fourth edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for 2026, and the 367th in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.

This week at a petrol station, I saw this poster from KPDN which shows the following RON95 petrol prices in Malaysia & neighbouring countries for comparison.
Malaysia – RM 2.54/L
Singapore – RM 8.62/L
Thailand – RM 5.33/L
Indonesia – RM 3.06/L
Among all the countries you listed here, we use the lowest Euro Standards RON95 (ie. Euro 4M). So, not really an apple to apple comparison. Our life are cheap, hmm..
The above info is valid only for last week. You should check first before you simply copy and paste.
the point here is that malaysia has aamong top 5 cheapest fuel price in entire world, so this was thanks to which PM and which gomen
The point here is that this week’s fuel prices in Indonesia, Singapore & Thailand are no longer the same as those mentioned in the comment made by ‘use rain’ on January 21, 2026 at 7:12 pm. That’s why don’t simply copy & paste like someone with no brain.
yeah so what if prices up or down by a few sen ? thanks to which PM and which gomen, malaysia ron95 price is among the top five most cheapest in the entire world.
yes captain obvious, they are no longer the same so what ? up or down a few sen makes little difference as the prices in thailand/indoensia/singapore this week , last week, next week, last year , next year , will still be far more expensive compared to malaysia.
so this cheap petrol malaysian price, was thanks to which PM and which govt?
If your comments are to be believable, it should at least contain up to date info/data. If you still can’t understand this, even 3 brains also cannot help you!
