Honda Fit Shuttle to make Japanese market debut in March

Honda will only be officially launching its new Fit Shuttle in Japan in March, but the company has already set about featuring information about the vehicle for the domestic market via a dedicated web page.

We ran the news about the leaked brochures of the vehicle last month. As mentioned previously, two JDM versions of the compact MPV will go on sale – a Hybrid version equipped with a 1.3 litre i-VTEC + IMA system as well as a 15X model featuring a 1.5 litre i-VTEC pot.

Updated details are of transmission types – the hybrid only comes with a CVT, while the petrol version is available in both front-wheel drive (with a CVT box) and four-wheel drive form (with a five-speed auto transmission).

Wondering this will come to Malaysia or not since tax free for this yr. Not bad, I like this design. Since Civic hybrid is out from the market, I guess this model is the most suitable to replace.

Looking forward to more Hybrid models coming to our shores
and hope that the govt will extend the tax breaks beyond 2012
to encourage the use of more fuel sipping cars.
Good on you Honda for being one of the first co’s to mass
    produce Hybrid cars.

honda to bring fit to malaysia? insight sales is good, at price that could interrupt a bit city sales…..why should honda bring fit here and put it at even lower price(after hybrid tax)? they are in business, not charity or enviroment NGO…
