BMW Malaysia uploaded a headlight pic on to its Facebook page yesterday night, teasing an upcoming model. “Guess what??? We have another new model on the way…care to guess which model?” was the caption, and it’s of course none other than the mid-cycle facelift of the E71 BMW X6.
The guys and girls behind BMW Malaysia’s FB page put up another shot this morning, of a rear lamp, confirming the impending arrival of the X6 LCI. “Now here’s a rear shot of our upcoming new BMW model,” they said.
Announced for the 2012 model year, the facelifted X6 features white corona rings with a flat bottom, like those on the F30 3-Series. There’s also the option of adaptive LED headlamps, where sources for low and high beam light are LED units positioned on a horizontal bar at its centre, feeding light to the reflectors in front.
The tail lamps are also lit up by LEDs, and the styling is designed to stretch far out to the sides, emphasising the substantial width of the X6. Interestingly, there’s also an optional engine bonnet with a powerdome.
