Mercedes-Benz has released a huge range of genuine accessories for the recently-facelifted W212 E-Class. Among the 140 optional items are aesthetic-enhancing products from Mercedes-Benz Sport Equipment and advanced multimedia additions.
Exterior options include an illuminated Mercedes star for models with a centrally positioned Three-Pointed Star. If you think the E-Class’ night-time light signature isn’t distinctive enough, this one will surely create a big enough spectacle whenever you lock/unlock your car.
The E-Class can be further dressed up with a sporty front splitter, rear window and boot lip spoilers and wing mirror covers. New 19-inch wheels are also included in the long individualisation programme, as are a slew of genuine Mercedes-Benz carrier systems and roof boxes.
Technophiles get to enjoy a list of optional iPhone and iPad docking stations to access on board functions, and the rear seats can be turned into an entertainment hub with two 7-inch displays with integrated DVD player, USB and SD card slot and wireless headphones.
Watch the video below to see some of the accessories in action.

No point all this things. Already Malaysians susah want to buy the car in the first place. Even for the very rich, RM$400,000 is such a big chunk and they feel the pinch. What is of prime importance is Mercedes reduce their prices. BMW and Mercedes every year quietly increase their prices. A silly E250 is worth RM400,000 when a higher spec E350 (100% German and not caplang CKD) in the US is ONLY US$50,000 (RM$150,000)
So how? RM150,000 vs RM400,000?
W
dont complain, the malaysian governments dont like complaints and they will likely suggest you to migrate to another country if you dont like what’s going here.
and some activists will mock at you saying your incapability of making big money for these expensive good cars although these cars are cheap elsewhere.
MBM Malaysia, can you please bring in the Mecedes E400 Hybrid instead of all these accessories. The E400 Hybrid in the USA is US$56,700. It comes with a 3.5L gasoline V-6 + hybrid electric motor that gives 329BHP.
Since this car will benefit from the Malaysian government Hybrid tax and excise exemptions, it will only be RM150,000. Lets say MBM Malaysia want to untung RM100,000 per car, you can still price your car for RM250,000 and still make sales.
Now we pay for caplang CKD E250 RM400,000. It is nice to pay for a real CBU German car RM250,000. How come MBM Malaysia don’t want to take advantage of Malaysian government’s Hybrid tax exemption? The same with BMW, BMW Malaysia also should take advantage of the Hybrid tax exemptions.
FYI, hybrid tax exemption is only for hybrid car below 2000cc. Don’t dream large cc car gonna cost less than 300k. BMW active hybrid 3(3000cc) already costed 400k.
Absolutely agreed….
Wow….I wish I had started saving since childhood. Not only I could afford a three pointed star, but a star studded diamond also within my reach….
