Mercedes-Benz V-Class (W447) interior revealed

mercedes-benz-v-class-interior-e

Here are photos of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz V-Class’ interior. Elements such as ambient lighting, metallic trim and wood inserts contribute towards a luxurious atmosphere. We can see four individual seats facing each other in the second and third rows.

You’ve seen the new W205 C-Class’ interior, so you’ll recognise the swoopy dashboard, the three-spoke steering wheel, the COMAND knob and touchpad, the circular air vents and the so-called “iPad on the dash” floating display, amongst many others.

Reviving a nameplate not seen since the original Vito van’s upscale sibling (which took on the Viano name for the second gen), the new W447 V-Class could debut at next year’s Geneva show in March. Reports say it will replace the Viano, Vito and slow-selling R-Class.

Mhh… where? The aircon controls are very much Merc, and, well, everything else also looks rather Mercedes like? The only thing is the glossy black surrounding around the screen… Renault does the same thing, but the screen isn’t floating.

Yes, 5.8m x 2.0m x 1.9m please, with ottoman captain seats with head side-supports, so that we don’t have to rely on Vellfire.

Minimum of 2.0m width is without side mirrors.
How can people build a 7-seater Mercedes that is smaller than a Hyundai Starex?
I wish it could be the widest MPV in the world.
We want the biggest and bulkiest, just like the Americans.

Classy comes with a huge price tag. Don’t blame the taxes when it’s out of reach.

to be honest though, the europeans and americans find the vellfire/alphard to be pretty awesome MPV’s they wish they could have in their country

Considering that recon Alphards are selling for 250k or so… maybe recon these could also be around that sort of price tag, maybe a bit more? Looks pretty good inside.

The rich are waiting with their wallets open for an MPV to separate them from those Alphard/Vellfire driving Tom, Dick and Harrys.

Alfart is nothing. People who drive it love to show off and act like datuk but look like a pariah. NO difference driving a vanette or hiace. No class at all.
